What Is Required During Quarantine?

HERE ARE SOME UPDATES FROM THE LAST 24 HOURS AFFECTING YOUR BUSINESS

• New New York State Laws In Regard to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Paid Sick Leave:
  • COVID-19 Paid Sick Leave: What Are Your Responsibilities as Employers?
  • COVID-19 PAID SICK LEAVE: What Are Your Benefits as Employees?
• Governor Cuomo has also mandated that no more than 25% of your employees may be on-site at your business. 75% must be sent home to work. This is a change from yesterday where the mandate was 50%.
• If you do not have employees in NYS, you should be paying attention since the Governors, of NY, NJ, CT and PA are working together to provide a unified plan and many of these changes may come to pass in the other states in the days to come.
• We are working to digest the Federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act passed by Congress and not going into effect till early April. As soon as we know more we will get the information in your hands.
