THE CARES ACT
ARE YOU READY TO APPLY?
Are you considering an emergency loan for your business? With The CARES ACT now in place and the application going through multiple banks and institutions, this is the time to be educated, informed and be ready to apply.
The CARES ACT includes 2 different loan programs: The EIDL (direct through the SBA Website,) and the SBA Relieve Loan (Paycheck Protection Loan) that is done through banks and SBA nonbank preferred lenders. See below for a comparison between the two programs.
If you decide to proceed with the SBA Relief Loan (Paycheck Protection Loan) option, it is best to apply now. Apply early in order to get the loan approved even if you don’t need to use it in the future. Check with your bank for these loans as most institutions are offering them to their clientele.
